Felt ok - all around 29s

Calf a little sore but not too bad.

Nice raz with Dan+Ali
Ran with them until 3k where turned back to do 6 total - calf ok but dont want to push it.

Practiced taking a gel at 3:45s which was pretty successful - even if I had to endure the Dan+Ali hate for taking one after 3k... whatever...

Note

Calf felt ok this weekend - hurting when warming up but not there for racing which was nice.

Midland Champs:

Felt super good warming up which i wasn't expecting - helped by the excessively tight Lycra init.

Through first few well and in control - but all went downhill 5-8 - lost 2 minutes - mostly by going to quick and not doing things right.

AlistairP caught me here and ran with him the most of the rest of the way fairly clean - pushed each other - especially over the last k or so.

Pleased but annoyed about the time losses early on.

Overall a fairly pleasing weekend - im a much better position then the last two years - but not there yet.

Keeping the lycra covered until the last minute - saving people eyes init.

Orienteering race 15:43 [5] 3.6 km (4:22 / km)

Sprint Selection Race:

Kinda ok - kinda meh.

Good technically - not many mistakes, 15-20 seconds lost total - however didn't feel like I had the speed - shown in the results - this is kinda expected but still frustrating.

Fairly pleased with the results - would have liked to take Ali.T tho (even tho he made solid mistakes)
