Went to a new track today and it was farther then I thought it would be.
running 5:00 [3]
Warm up and dynos.
running 10:00 [3]
Two 100's full speed and a 400 at about 90%.
First 100 I timed as a 13.46 with my watch. I think this was a little longer then my actual time and I have a video of this run that I have to look at to see a more exact time. Looked at the video more closely and it was hard to tell when we started but I timed it through the video to be between 12.83-13.00.
Second 100 was timed by a friend watching me he recorded a 12.05 which seems quite fast. However I doubt he messed up by more then a second so I should have beat 13.26. I also think this 100 was faster because a friend of mine started 10 meters behind me and I was terrified he would catch me (he came fairly close).
Moral of the story I definitely beat 13.26.
400 was around a 61. Was going pretty hard but the fast 100 took more out of me then I was expecting.
Biking home. The one 10 meter hill almost killed me.
12 PM
orienteering 59:47 [1] 3.76 km (15:54 / km)
Some virtual orienteering and picking up controls. For the virtual orienteering I was in a park getting directed by a bunch of people to go to controls. As you can see I was moving pretty fast.
So today Bridget was busy when we were doing core and Peter decided to lead I was like great this has to be easier then what we were doing before. Spolier it was not. May have been the hardest core work I have ever done.
Nice easy run. I had forgotten how much more enjoyable running was when the weather was somewhat nice. Like I could actually see the entire time because sweat wasn't blinding me.
Fun run with some of my teammates. I had kind of forgotten how we did the last mile quick and was very surprised when we finished the last mile in 620.
