Thursday Feb 11 #

running 1:00:00 [3] 11.14 km (5:23 / km)

Full workout, so time includes warm-up, cool down, stretching, and actual workout.
The workout was a 3 by 5 minute with around about 5-minute recovery. It didn't feel great physically but it was really nice to get back to running fast. It was definitely tough getting started and overcoming mental inertia so the first one was the hardest and they got easier as we went. The speed was slower and the breaks longer than I was hoping for but the combination of awful conditions (28 degrees F or -1 C, wind and ice) and lack of workouts made the paces not that bad.
1st rep - 1.39km or about 5:46/mi pace
2nd rep - 1.37km or about 5:53/mi pace
3rd rep - 1.49 km or about 5:24/mi pace

Note

AHHH completely broke my log by syncing to watch! Well looks like I just doubled all my training. You think my body will now be twice as well trained????
