race day today, missed judged the rolling schedule a bit so warm up was longer then normal but i didn't let that bother me and i just kept moving and focused in on what had to happen. legs where feeling pretty crumby from the car ride but i didn't think about it. during race i just stuck right on the lead guys shoulder after about 3 laps in i was already dead but i just kept saying stay with this guy one more lap and before i knew it there was only about a k to go. just kept pushing the entire race with about 600m to go lead runner gained a bit on me but i just tried to stay as close as possible didn't have enough to out kick him at the end but a great race. new pb of 9:04 went through first k in 2:55 second k in 6:56 and finished in 9:04

nice easy shake out run today to get ready for race tomorrow footing was bit crumby so just took it a bit easier then usual but felling really great and ready for tm.

Thursday Feb 9, 2017 #

circuit today, ran it on my own was feeling really good throughout entire workout. after i spiked up and did 3x50m excels.

Wednesday Feb 8, 2017 #

15min wu, full active, 3x excels spiked, 4 sets of 500m, 100m float, 300m, 200m between sets, 15cd

Ankle was still bothering me this morning during warm up but once got going into the workout I just totally forgot about it. Was a really great workout ran with Derek and Jordan, its great to have people to work with on these workouts. Combined times for the whole set of 500m and 300m was 2:24, 2:19, 2:16, 2:18.

Tuesday Feb 7, 2017 #

pool workout this morning was really tired but once got into the pool it woke me up, was putting in really great effort today during the workout.

off day run this afternoon calfs and ankles where bothering me a bit but other than that great run.

Monday Feb 6, 2017 #

20 wu 20 min of 4:15 steady 45 surge, 15 cd

good workout today was felling pretty good through out entire thing, footing was bit sloppy but other than that was pretty great workout. ran first 25 min with Derek and Jordan

sunday long run, legs where really sore from racing so was a bit slower then usual but still got something out of the run.
