so exhausted and tense, mainly cuz work is quite stressful at the moment. currently having difficulties stopping myself from strangling my computer (at work). was quite looking forward to this run, but pretty much it just ended up being really really painful. blisters hurt, but they were bearable, i'm kinda used to them. knees were shitty, hip was excruciating. anyways i'm still happy with it because i kept running. but i think i'll call the physio tomorrow.

same run as last tuesday, did it just over 2 minutes faster, which isn't really a significant difference. wore my orthotics since my knees have been really sore lately, but htat was a bad idea cuz now i have massive blisters on my arches :(

fairly cruisey run, one of my old loops, i don't think i've run it for about six months. felt pretty slow, but time was alright - pb for it is 37:41, so almost a minute/km slower, but that's ok given how slack i've been over hte last few months.

lots of stretching, and i did all the exercises i'm supposed to be doing for my knees/hips/ankles. feel quite good now.

cold, wet and muddy. pretty much just a running race. not too bad, i probs shouldve pushed myself a bit more, but meh. i was fairly tired when i finished so yeh.

nsw long distance champs.
lost about 5 minutes at the first control, just stuffing around and being stupid. pretty good until 5, i was a gully too far over but i though i was the gully before, lost another 5 minutes or so there. pretty much went awesomely from 6 - 10, then stupidly went from 10 - 12, lost about 8 minutes going to 12 then back to 11 and back to 12. pretty annoyed at myself for doing that. i'm ok with this run though, even though i did some pretty stupid things, because i was running really well (as in just running, not orienteering) and i think sometimes i just need to concentrate a bit more, i tend to stuff up after i've been spiking controls.

today is a rest day mainly because i won't have time to do anything.
i did go for a fast walk in my lunch break though, but that was because i only had half an hour and i wanted to go to myer which is the other end of queen st...

Orienteering 50:54 [3] 5.1 km (9:59 / km) +160m 8:38 / km

long red at stockyard creek.

was going pretty well until the 7th control, not entirely sure what i did but it was pretty much a ninety degree error. probably lost about 3 minutes on it. also lost maybe 45 seconds on the 11th control. i probably should have pushed myself a bit harder, i didn't run as well as i could have. didn't really help that my strapping tape was too tight/my shoes are shit and my feet were pretty much completely numb though.

Orienteering 10:31 [4] 1.7 km (6:11 / km) +75m 5:04 / km

did the blue course while i was waiting for my parents to get back.
it was quite fun. bit slow though considering the majority of it was on track.

Run 20:00 [1]

ran around for about 5 minutes before, and jogged about three quarters of the blue course after i ran it cuz i figured i should warm down.
