Couldn't face another long one by myself so just a speedy run around the meadows.

Blackford and new Braids ridge path, backwards through mortonhall but then torch died so cut it a bit short and road run home. Feeling pretty fresh but I wouldn't mind if this knee could settle down a bit...

Hill reps on Lauder road. Making it up as I went along but 10 x 20s with 40s recovery then 5 x 30s with 60s recovery. Would've done more but knee moving about in a dodgy way so bailed.

Back out after a 3 day taper for this session.
5 x 1250s at late meadows cuz im a big boy now, splits:
4:34, 4:26, 4:22, 4:23, 4:26
Inconsistency may be excusable since I've never run these before although good to have Tess there for some fast-pace benchmarking.

Felt much faster than it was, not sure why but I guess that's how 2017 started.

Bit of knee pain after Belgium but 3 rest days sounds like laziness not recovery. Intervals tomorrow.
