WU - bit late so panicked, probably the hardest I ran all day :(

Forest-O race 1:27:41 [3] 11.2 km (7:50 / km) +220m 7:08 / km

Inshriach SOL was fun - grotty area, grotty weather, grotty run - but still quite fun. Didn't fully expect the 1:15 map which threw me off a few times and probably explains my 100% record for errors in the first 3 controls. Cleaned it up in the grid, and then up the hill to a shaky 5, coming out of 7 I thought I was at 8, so navigated accordingly (depressingly I went so slowly overall that winsplits doesn't even recognise this leg as a mistake).

9 was fine, as was 10 although the enormous unmapped felling area was offputting. Bit dodgy through the technical section - couldnt really read the map tbh, and then 10 controls later pulled the same stunt at 17/18 as before.

Big trawl across the open ft. waist high river crossing and then another time sink at 19 before stumbling through the last section to finish.

Really pretty dreadful race but fairly clear what needs to be sorted out and glad to get the bad run out of me before JHIs in two weeks (and while everyone else is busy at JIRCS not paying attention to my crapness).

Indoor night sprint, bit of a weird one. Garmin doesn't have a clue what happened so kinda making it up with some of the numbers I do have. Good fun and totally impossible.

Since Frederici's off to JEC next week, this was the last Wednesday run before uni :( Pretty standard Mortonhall action, both feeling pretty dead from our respective Tuesday sessions sp pretty unimpressive pace but felt like a decent run anyway.

Gonna be a shame to lose the most regular part of my training week, rainy wednesday evenings are about to get a bit harder.

Killing fields intervals doing my best impression of a EUOC runner, pretty tough stuff but good to do intervals with a big group at around about/faster than my pace. Avoided getting totally binned though. 6mins,5,4,3,2,1 with 1 min recoveries. 5 mins felt a lot harder than 6 :///
