shoes: Asics GT-1000 5 (heavies)

Really struggled to get out for this, and having made myself late thought I might as well not bother, but 5k in started to feel pretty good. Unfit, and the shins are there, but its definitely time to push on and train again. Didn't garmin but the standard Grantchester loop is pretty well ingrained now.

Beginning to get the appetite for the shameless pancake-fest that's about to happen...

S&C 10:00 [3]

S+C to make sure I didn't arrive at Harey pancakes on time because that would just be plain rude

shoes: Asics GT-1000 5 (heavies)

Ran to physio, realised I'd got myself out by a slot and had missed it by half and hour, then realised that in running to physio I'd proven I didn't really need it after all. Wanted to do up to the hill and back, but the no-more-than-10k policy meant turning back before reaching it.

Good to be running again, but feeling horribly unfit, and its not great fun to have to limit the pace so much :/

Sprint-O 26:35 [3] 6.3 km (4:13 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 5 (heavies)

Was gonna give the shins a bit longer, but the offer of more sprint training at North Cambridge with Bigby was too tempting.

Felt incredibly tight and slow, but the pace was actually alright and the nav not too rusty (although I'd run the courses before so not sure how meaningful that is). Bit of a twinge on the third lap, but otherwise shins feeling repaired which is a big relief. Will phase in some miles again, but taking it easier this time.

Cycling 34:20 [3]

Nice ride back along the busway then through Girton. Good to have an excuse to finally get out for a ride
