Tried to start properly training again, immediately stress fractured 3 metatarsals (...I think, x-ray to come, but the ouchiness is pretty severe). See you in 6 weeks AP.

JOK Chase prologue.

Nailed first four controls, Sasha still caught a minute on me. Kept him in sight for most of the rest though, just the one slip up near the end but a decent and efficient qualifier would have needed to give a lot more to get any advantage in the chase.

JOK Chasing Sprint Chase

Went out hard trying not to get munched up by Fred in the open. Just about made it into the forest ahead but straight into a minute error. Cue a bunch of faffage costing me zero positions, and then a nice tow from Oleg just pipping him on the finish. My thanks to the Chepelin family probably due today.
