Oof nice result
What a lovely start such nice terrain caught andrew round 5 and then wasn’t confident to 6 was a bit low and thought I had gone too far.
Then boom fastest leg to 7 woooo*insert intense thrusting motion here* 8 I saw the path and was like yes please. Then the rest was clean but a slog. 16 was the worst legs on absolute fire and billy reed dropped me but hey a 5th is a 5th.
Not gonna lie whoever planned should retire. One of the best areas in Scotland, really nice complex wood- Nah, shite open fell-heck yeh

Decided to go measured and clean and find a rhythm quickly did that and was going good. Coming out of 6 I thought I could just go straight cross hill but I hit a fat piece of heather. Probably lost close to 3 mins trying to get out of it. Heather should be mapped differently to runnable open grrr. Rest was fine bit annoyed I slipped that far

Good nav except for a few hesitations and wrong ditch at 3 running was good until 6 when I fell in a marsh and must have added a lot of weight which made it tougher
