Pentlands SOL
Felt like throwback to Stockholm Tour by getting the bus to event which was fun.
Head dropped very early though unfortunately. Made a terrible route choice decision to 1. Trying to go straight through the semi open fenced section. Got stuck in gorse and lost a huge amount of time trying to get out. Nearly got caught by my two minute man here. Just decided to just stick it in cruise and using it as training from there on. Reckon I got the best route to 4 but got stuck in gorse in two separate places so more time lost through just faffing. Rest of the course was fine but never really pushing, so no surprise to be well down

First efforts in over two weeks. 4 min climb up Blackford hill from the river side. Steps are an absolute killer. Nearly got the KOM. Then a few strides on meadows
