I was happy with the effort and the times but unhappy with the ranking. I really have detrained. A blister on my left foot is the best evidence of that fact. But then I should have bought new shoes months ago. The last event of the season was the first club event I could get out too. What's with that? As usual, I'll put comments on the splits.

Bobbles on controls 12, 13 and 15 (just after the one-hour mark) kept me out of sixth place. Predictably, brain sugars after an hour on course probably effected my decision making.
