Locking the keys in the car while registering for the event was not a good start to the day. However, I suspect the added adrenalin was useful. As Danielle and I both committed to completing our courses despite circumstances, we both took it easy, knowing that the real adventure awaited us after the finishing chute: getting home by bus (with little money) in our sweaty clothes.
