If I could erase the twelfth leg (209), I'd be delighted with effort. This was my first orienteering of any sort since June. For 209, I twice ended up shooting off of control 216 only to be distracted by other course controls en route. I was already on the map for an hour - I would have used a water station - so I guess I could expect trouble. Besides control 209 was in a nasty spot. Even though I squandered my home field advantage, I'm looking forward to compare results.
