Running 43:05 [3] 5.5 km (7:50 / km)
shoes: New Balance AT626

I had a nasty scare 25 minutes into a pleasant run en route to O meet. In midstride it was if I had no left leg. I came down on my left knee on sidewalk and then both palms. My immediate thoughts were to warn Rorry to be prepared to find another ROGAINE teammate. Eventually I dusted myself off and headed off to Timm Drive in still decent time...for me...much better time than run home after orienteering.

orienteering race (Timm Drive) 1:45:43 [3] *** 6.4 km (16:31 / km)

48.4%

The race was simply part of what should have been a pre-ROGAINE four hour workout. I put no pressure on myself and I'm happy with the outcome.

EarthCache Virtual 5K Run

This was supposed to be a time trial. I ran my heart out. If felt like a zone 4 effort but not according to the clock. However, this was my first run wearing new CamelBak Octane XCT and it was loaded. The first 2k were in 12:00 but that was on road with wind behind me. The rest was off-road crash-and-burn.
