canicross 19:00 [3] 2.1 km (9:03 / km)

Ziggy and I tried to hide from -26 windchill at Bruce Pit for this workout.

Snowshoeing 58:11 [3] 3.42 km (17:01 / km)
ahr:115 max:144 weight:177.8lbs shoes: Atlas Run snowshoes

Not pleased with snow removal on the side of the Goulbourn Forced Road beside the closed lot, I decided to start from Mancuso. That route choice requires the Kizell to be frozen solid. I fell through the ice into the sulphur smelling water four times. At least that will raise the heart rate.

This a first-time, new record weight and not a good record. I'm calling it grandaditis. It's no wonder that my knee has been so much trouble recently.

Knee bends, the focus of and usually easiest part of the workout, were particularly slow and difficult.

Running 44:00 [3] 5.6 km (7:51 / km)
shoes: New Balance MT610BB3

With no dog and no hospital trips I had to try a run in the relatively mild temperature, -3C. However, traction on snow and ice was very poor. I had full stop not included in time for water break. My weight is 9lbs way too much.
