I was much too rushed getting to the event and then I had trouble seeing anything on the map, even with glasses.

31, 32, 34, 33, 35, 37, 36, 38, 39...I couldn't find 40...41, 43, 45 gave me so much trouble that I decided to go no further, 43 (yes, for the second time), 44, 42 and even though time had already expired, I went all the way back to fail again at 40.

47/60 32.8%
48/60 44.0%

Timm Drive

I should have done 21 controls but I was totally stumped by control 14 (31) so I gave up. I doubt that I would have done the whole 8.8k map under 3 hours considering the humidex of 36. This was great training for the Boilermaker, lots of running.

After review, I now know I was on a totally different trail seeking 31. I never would have found it. Can I blame more that two hours in the heat.
