| went to the cascades with the cyclone kiddies . what an epic, thick and possibly the hardest course ever set! stuffed up 2 and couldnt find it cuase i was standing about 3metres to the right of it and new i was i the right spot. but kept going, so i went to all the rest, was standing on 4 but couldnt see it so i went for a wander, the rest i found fairly well cause i got my orienteering head working again in granite. no.13 was a bit iffy but i relocated real quick. all and all good days training. went back with kier after i finished to find 2 and did after taking a bearing off the fence. should of done that in the first place.

| omg a trek and a half. i dont care if i had the slowest time ever! im proud that i finished it after almost giving up half way to the 1st control(which was like 1km away up a massive hill) the second control was close but because i was like totallly not concentrating i spent 10mins on it. grr angry about that. also i hesitated alot on thios course in the creek systems deciding which way to go. all my goals before the race evaporated at the 1st control so im really unhappy about that. try to get them back at 4 but nope was totally not caring. just wanted to get it over and done with. | ||
