did a little bit of visual distance estimation and then some control site identification work, nothing stressful but learnt alot about how course setters may set courses and place controls.

did the short tonight, knee pulled up pretty well, was a bit sore at the beginning but it didnt hurt at all at the end.
good old strapping tape does fix everything.

got about to the 5km mark and my knee started really hurting, so i stoped with about 2.5km to go and walked 1.5km back.
i was doing really well i thought too.

hahaha i think i must have been the only person to go the way i did. i got attacked my toads and sacartas and the foot path i was running along had a huge sign at the end of it saying bridge out... so i went swimming. no light either, was a bit scary. all and all was good fun.

why didnt anyone tell me swimming was so hard!
first swim session for summer..and ever. did 500m freestyle in 14mins, and then 200m breastroke in 6 with breaks.
was fun though, will be back next week.

did some distance estimation and then some mapping of a new track..i think it was the dingos track? prob only ran about 2km all up.
also i found some awesome sunnies hehehe they're mine now

omg i got sooo lost!! never go through the detail not mapped bit at chermside hills ever again! i jumped so many construction fences and fell in so many holes in the middle of the bush i had no clue what was going on!
still with that i was only 6mins off the winner so that ok by me.
1st half was slow - being lost was slower- but the rest i pushed especially the hills at the end.
