SOOOO dead right now. - ran from thors place past stuart holme, up jc slaughter, to summit, back down chapel hill resevoir..the rest of the group then went left..i lost them and ended up at supermarket.??? and so i assumed the freeway was in this general direction and asked a lady where russel terrace was..found them randomly on some street. then to anzac park and home

about 1.5 hours after i ran this morning i started to see flashes across my vision and i couldnt read anything. well i thought this was strange so i sat down, then came the headache to end all head aches. yes i got a migraine at 9:30 in the morning and i only now at 2pm have regained the ability to walk and talk without causing severe pain. the moral of this story, on hot days, take water with me while running!

Had to run to the control circle but it was really big and odd shaped and had to find the control, while having no control descriptions. coudlnt find most of them and gave up pretty much than got stung by wasps.

ok i kept up with the group for longer than usual today, i made it more than half way to that intersection with the group but then they dropped me. but still a pb for that leg, 20.50.
than to gap creek and back up the new bike track.

clive's training at gap creek. did a fartlek run with the group, we would jog in a line and when clive yelled a name that person had to sprint off in any direction for 100m and the rest of the group had to try and catch up. heaps fun.

woooo this was so much fun, i got the flour and had to make a sneaky trail around gap creek. each intersection i had to put a hanful of flour 20 spaces up one direction . the group had to try and figure out which way i went...
tee hee i like drawing with flour.

well.... this is not good. my right knee on the right outerside is hurting and is swollen, only figured this out today. how odd, i havnt done anything since sunday and it didnt hurt on monday-wednesday so why now? maybe it will be better tomorrow.

oceania relay champs. had a good lead from belinda and ineka had a strong run even though she is injured..im so impressed :D and my run was pretty good too... so we ended up winning the 18's and the 20's. wooohooo. only one minor error at 5 but i just stopped before it so again i didnt trust myself.... but ohwell, it was all good.

Oceania long distance champs-1-5 excellent.... 6 and 7 lost concentration all togethor and had the worst attackpoints ever! I need to work on attackpoints coming down hillsides. the other 2 controls i stuffed up were just tiredness kicking in and was very distracted by other controls. should trust myself more. lost about 10min... so i couldnt have placed anyway. too tired... must be the altitude...or im just lazy.

orienteering race 18:49 [4]2.9 km (6:29 / km) +90m 5:37 / km
omg i got beaten by two nz junior girls. bad bad bad... i ended up turning a orange course into a red one. couldnt find the 1st control and the 2nd was too low, so i wasted a fair amount of time. was 1min behind the winner junior girls.. but maybe she had a shorter 1st leg..

oceania middle distance champs. had a really good first loop and had strong navigation however the 2nd loop was a bit sloppy but not too bad. wasted 2mins in total so there was no real way i could have beaten greta. she did 28
btw i came 3rd

i just went riding around ineka's property in socks and thongs and my pjamas...and fell off and cut my leg. hahaha
