Did the same route as i usually do going up via silva park and back via gap creek road. The hills are getting to be alot less evil then before.
Interesting thing happened while out riding today. I had a run in with the law..literally. I was coming round a sharp down hill corner that lead onto gap creek road when all of a sudden i saw this massive police caravan right at the end of the track. I braked suddenly because i couldnt go around it because it blocked the entire trackend. So i went through the cones and under the caravan verandah. There was nothin in the caravan but a bike. i aussmed they were apart of the bike police scouting the local tracks for predators. I saw another police car on the other side of the caravan with a policeman in it. but he didnt seem to be dressed appropriatly for biking so i dont know what he was doing there, he was on his radio looking at cars comming up the road, he didnt seem to notice me riding straight through the police camp.. i rode on home down the road with i saw this massive flashing sign. It said " NO MOVEMENT OF HORSES" my theory is the police man was stopping all horse caravans from going between the gap and brookfield.

interesting father's day ride...time to bake my daddy a cake.
