orienteering 1:52:00 [3] 13.7 km (8:11 / km)

Holy moly. What an epic adventure at Worlds end. Turns out our course was longer in optimum route choice than course 1, however, course 1 was 11.2km compared to our 11km. Very odd. The next course was 5.8km.
Very hill. Watch read 700m of climb.
I may have been a bit worried about this before I went out and could have gone faster at the beginning. I was very conservative with my speed because I wanted to have energy left over at least till the long leg. Tough day, feet sore.

NETBALL! 40:00 [3]

orienteering 10:00 [3]

Shadowing one of the younger members on the camp during the star relay.

orienteering 42:00 [3] 6.4 km (6:34 / km)

Worlds end north event after the training.
I pushed hard but I wanted to get under 40. I also made some questionable decision getting to 2 and 3

orienteering 1:20:00 [3] 10.0 km (8:00 / km)

Three exercises with the juniors out at twigham.
We did a line course first and then a micro o where there were 5 controls in a circle all with different letters on them. The kids had to find the feature in the centre of the circle and find the right letter. The letters added together would make a 7 letter word.
We then did a down hill relay at the end. The kids started at the bottom of the hill and ran to the top to collect their maps.
