Women’s coaching day at Pewsey Vale.
Had 8 ladies show up and we did exercises such as terrain running, moderate navigation skills walk and then rock grouping activity.
It was bitterly cold up there. Hands froze.
Surprisingly have only put on 1kg since may orienteering trials. I am going to start a plan that involves three runs a week, more cycling and a lot of strength work.
Middle at Mannawarra. Ran up the little yellow spur with Simon right out of the start even though it wasn’t a route to one on our courses. We just wanted to do it cause it looked cool. This this caused the people behind us to think this was the way out of the start triangle... it was not.
Mannawarra long. I decided on the way to the start that with my leg in the condition it is the best option was to do the shortest route possible. So, I red lined the entire course.
12.6km course and I did 13.4km
