Port Elliot orienteering event.
My old stomping ground as a child but I have never orienteered here before, so this was something new.
Anyway I was stuffed. Still have this lingering cold and the heat got to me. avoiding the out of bounds area on the SW coast added extra distance.

Port Elliot has always directionally confused me. The beach runs to the east and the streets are on a diagonal to north.
In other places in Australia I have been, the beaches run to the north or south and the streets to the beach run north and south inline with the ocean.

Anyway, it's confusing for me.
