Easter Day 1 Sprint at Scotch college.

I knew in advance that it was going to be a super hectic sprint as there were 32 controls in 2.8km.
I still wasn’t ready mentally for this and had no flow and had to stop at each control almost. Read the terrain well and memorised legs when I did read the map.
Tried to memorise the whole leg when I stopped and then run hard to the control, then repeat.

Turned the map flip over one control too soon so navigated to 15 without 14 on the map which was confusing cause I didn’t know where I was in relation to 14 on the map with no 14 on it.

Sprint relay leg one.

Started off fast and was still in the lead till 11. Lost speed but still had Aislinn in sight about 100m in front. Then the splits were way different at the end and I went off some where else and when I got back Aislinn and the juniors had finished :(
Oh well, Still fun

Went out on the last leg for the family relay. Had fun.
I think our sprint relay team came 16th which was pretty good.

Attackpoint, line course and then Sardines.
Included putting out controls and then shadowing the easy/moderate groups

Two training sessions in the afternoon.
First session was off linear features and second exercise was contour only.
also putting out controls.

Pewsey Vale event. Was rough running.
