orienteering (Sprint the bay race 5) 18:35 [3]

Sleeping giant.
Wore my spikes and full leg covering for this race. I think the spikes gave me the confidence to go straight on a lot of the controls in the loop we did.
Took some good route choices with little climb and I think that gave me an advantage.
Tired at the end but happy with 3rd.

orienteering (Sprint the bay race 6) 20:01 [3]

Minced up the crossings on the first control but was fine after that. Just lost a lot of steam. Krystal cruised passed me at 14. Surprised I ended up 11th. I was 3.30 behind but others must have been as tired as I was.

Little jog around the Redwoods. My leg felt quite good going slow.

orienteering 17:00 [3]

Sprint relay at Devon street school/ intermediate school. Leg still sore but jogged around this course. Brain wasn’t quite with it and started doing a loop backwards but fixed my route pretty quickly.
