Grass run (80' easy although much lo) 1:59:56 [2] 10.98 mi (10:55 / mi) +1485m 7:41 / mi
shoes: Salomon speedcross

Did a 10 mile loop in the hills with Cal and Simon (PhD student). Was the best weather its been in months reached 15 degrees at one point. Set off from Llanberis up Moel Eilio about 4 miles and 700m. Over the ridges towards Snowdon, 3 miles undulating and then the big pull up Snowdon and back down on the railway track. Was running a lot slower than originally planned as Simon is very out of shape but was an awesome day. Heel didn't bother me at all, calfs weren't an issue, feeling pretty good. Just a long time for me to be on my feet so need to get rested and refuelled.

shoes: Salomon speedcross

60' moderate on the playing fields with Cal, felt tired and heel hurt for majority of run, felt nice to run the diagonals at a quicker pace though.

50' moderate round the playing fields and hill sprints on a small trail hill. Best weather in ages. Felt like I was running much more comfortably than I have been recently. Nothing to complain about today, feeling good!

Heel still hurting but improving slightly, calf muscles are loads better. Felt tired today but got the hour in. 10' level 9, 10' level 10, 10' level 11, 10' level 12 and slowly back down for the last 20'.

60' moderate around the playing fields. Feeling a little better today. Heel did hurt a little for the majority of the run. Calfs are starting to ease.

Round the playing fields which are in slightly better condition but still quite muddy. Felt quite slow and awkward during the run but the diagonals felt good. I did feel my heel hurt slightly but not much and calf muscles are still very tight and pretty sore.

Lectures over ran so didn't have time to fit it in at lunch, felt tired after a long day of boring lectures back to back. Took it slightly easier as I felt a bit run down. Kept it between 90-100 rpm and did 20' level 9, 20' level 10, 10' level 11, 10' level 10 and 20' level 9. Heel felt loads better but calf muscles unbelievably tight and sore.
