We were driven out to a massive bridge and did a steady run back over Whernside back to the hut, mixture of steep climbs and descents on stone slabs but mostly on grass. Feel a little like I'm starting to develop plantar fascists in my right foot feels similar to what the left foot felt like but slightly sharper.

15' warming up jogging around a field then we did a 12 minute threshold/tempo run (at a pace that we should be able to hold for an hour though it was much quicker) all uphill and a lot was running up stone slab stairs. Then we jogged back down to regroup and did 6 x 30" + 1 min roll on all up hill which felt good and finished way ahead of everyone else. Then steadily jogged back down to the hut.

Went out from where we are staying down, mostly on road very steady, chatting the whole way. Feeling decent hamstring feeling a tad sore towards the end but nothing serious.

Feeling a lot better today. Went up a gear every 20/10 minutes, then back down for the last 20'. Feel just about fully recovered from the race.

50' easy around school playing fields after work, still quite sore hamstrings but much improvement.Still don't think I could have managed hill sprints without causing damage.

50' easy round the school playing field after long day at work. Hamstrings still very sore but hip flexors and groin muscles seem to have healed up quite fast. Don't think I could have managed the diagonals without pulling my hamstrings so didn't risk doing them. Think I will struggle with hill sprints tomorrow but will see how it feels.

Got it in early before work. Went up a gear every 20 or 15 minutes then slowly back down for last 20'. Heart rate peaked around 55' in. Felt major DOMS waking up this morning, mainly hamstrings and more so in the left hamstring.
