80' easy through the woods, over golf course, round Cunswick, along the Scar and back. Hamstrings and groin muscles a little sore but have definitely felt worse after a race.

Warm up easy running on the flat around a rugby pitch then walked up to the start and did another mile out and back on the course and then just a few strideouts.

Took it relatively easy, new from the top of the first climb I wasn't sharp enough to stay with the front group so just trailed off the back picking people off as they blew up. Fairly flat undulating course with one big steep bit. Wasn't able to push hard, always had something in reserve and finished relatively fresh. Escaped unhurt and had a good weekend.

60' moderate over the golf course around Cunswick, few laps of the Hilly field and back the same way. Muddy run. Feeling good today, no problems.

60' easy round Kendal Green, pretty muddy but feeling good. Diagonals feeling good as well.

70' moderate over golf course, round Cunswick then just a bunch of laps round the hilly field and back the same way. Started raining towards the end of the run, but feeling good today. No problems.

Starting in lower gears moving up a gear every 5/10'. Kept heart rate under 130 until minute 50 and worked hard in the highest gear, out the saddle up to minute 60'. Then back down through the gears for last 20'. Feeling good.
