45 minutes steady running with speed variations
Due to work and other external issues I had to swap a couple of sessions around. This and time constraints meant a choice between doing this session on the treadmill or not at all.
I ran 45 minutes on the treadmill at around 10 minute miling followed by 8 x 40 second sprints at 7.30 to 8 minute miling.
I am aware that this was easier than doing this session on the trails/off-road and not ideal because of this. But needs must.
Gary - if you want me to repeat this session on the trails or at my triathlon club let me know and I will do so.
