55' Easy Run 55:42 [3] 5.25 mi (10:37 / mi) +113m 9:57 / mi
slept:8.0 shoes: Saucony Triumph Womens ISO 3

55' Easy on an undulating route.

I must have had three shredded wheat as I had a lot of energy during this run. Felt light and springy and, supercharged too.

I could have ran at a faster pace so more like a moderate run...

4 PM

see Description Box below 1:00:06 [4] 6.2 mi (9:41 / mi) +143m 9:02 / mi
slept:8.0 shoes: Saucony Triumph Womens ISO 3

15' Easy + 4 x 4' Tempo (2' Easy) + 15' Easy Run.

Wasn't in Stone this week so did this on an undulating route near to where I live. Felt fine during this and was powering it up any hills.

Regeneration 50:35 [2] 3.75 mi (13:28 / mi) +73m 12:42 / mi
slept:8.0 shoes: Saucony Triumph Womens ISO 3

A very easy Recovery Run/Walk to shake out the legs.

Road Cycling 2:15:00 [3] 31.0 mi (4:21 / mi)
slept:7.0

Lovely, sunny well, more like summer day for cycling.

31 miles to Newport and back. Went a different route this time which included great views of The Wrekin.
5 PM

60 Minutes Moderate Run 1:00:56 [4] 5.5 mi (11:05 / mi) +108m 10:27 / mi
slept:7.0 shoes: Salomon S-Lab Sense Ultra

I decided to repeat last week's 60' Moderate Run as I felt it was a poor one mainly as a result of a lack of sleep/tiredness. I felt sluggish on that run and wasn't happy with it although it's good practice for running on tired legs during an ultra.

Much better run this evening. Had a lot more energy and it flowed! The run felt good and I was light on my feet - no sluggishness at all.

Bonus.

Walking 1:15:00 [3] 3.0 mi (25:00 / mi)
slept:8.0

Persuaded mum to go on a good 3 mile walk (some training for her as well as me!) where we live to take advantage of the spring weather.

5 PM

see Description Box below 1:01:30 [4] 5.01 mi (12:16 / mi) +203m 10:54 / mi
slept:8.0 shoes: Saucony Triumph Womens ISO 3

10' Easy + 6 x 60's Hill Reps (with 3 min recoveries) + 6 x 30's Hill Reps (with 2 min recoveries) + 10' Easy.

Did this session up Fairoak Bank.

Felt light and springy so that 12 hour snooze-fest on Saturday must have worked!

REST DAY 1 [0]
slept:12.0 (rest day)

I slept for 12 hours last night and before midnight which I needed! Feel a lot better for doing so.

Took mum out today but we both did a 45 minute walk so I wasn't completely lazy! :-)
