Sprint at uni of canberra. Ran even though knee was sore during warm up. First loop and a half was solid but misread the map at 16 which a number of people did and lost all my time there. Knee tightened up badly afterwards.

Meant to be some sort of orienteering interval session but was just a semi smackdown with leon. Knee was rooted during warm up and couldnt walk after pulling out on the 2nd loop.

Night o training on bruce ridge. Was awesome fun. Ran with rob and bryan for all of it. Got nailed on a fence as well.

Decided to take some harden up and still run red 1. Main aim today, besides making sure leg survives, was to get everything flowing smoothly, i.e. control flow, running without stopping to read the map etc. Leg held up alright but was cruising for most of it. Got leg checked out today, looks like an overuse injury of my left adductor. Just need to rest up and stretch it so hopefully will be sweet for easter. Kinda ironic i got an overuse injury and in the OA mag theres an article of overtraining with a picture of me next too it.

Did some new exercises with just the dumb bells. Seems to leave my arms a shitload more sore than just using the fixed weights. Groin muscle still sore but better compared to yesterday. Might run tomorrow.

JWOC time trial at UQ athletics track. Considering how crap i felt the last couple of days, pretty happy with the time i produced. Groin/ hip flexor is causing me pain now though

Did go out for a run, but its not worth logging. Lasted about 12mins before i couldnt be stuffed. Did 100,200,300 with 100m jog recovery and felt crap. Still recovering from weekend i guess. Hip flexor sore again.

NOL 2 at Mt Beckworth. Ran M21E. Lots of overshooting controls, couldnt get head working. Was impressed with running though.

Terrain run on one of the shitest maps Qld has to offer. Found a red 5 course from a badge in 2002 and decided to smash that out. Started off ok except for a shitload more lantana being present in some creeks. Was starting to lose interest by 4 when i couldnt find the termite mound cause it doesnt exist no more ( was in the wrong place to start with anyway.). Then completely missed 8 and kept going. Couldnt physically get to 11 and the finish cause it was covered in lantana too. Found the times for this course. Pete sheldon 70mins, trevor sauer 56mins wtf??.

ok as far as i can tell, my leg is back in action for this weekend. but physically felt like i was dying on that run and i was only jogging. shall need to cram in a few more leg looseners for the weekend.

Still resting up. Got lorenzo to check out the leg and looks like its alright, just resting up couple more days and stretching the problem muscle. Should be right for the NOL. Killing for a run at the moment though.
