Training 11:00:00 [4] 25.0 mi (26:24 / mi)

Day one of Stockville. Went fairly well, but hills still kick my ass. Thought it overall went very well considering my current level of physical fitness. We ran some of it, but not too much. On the points where I took lead, I noticed that I need to work on being more accurate in distances and knowing generally where we are at. We were the first team back, so we were fairly set up before everyone else got back. Toes hurt but other than that I was still in great shape medically.

Training 40:00 [3]

Worked the IOCT in Hayes. Mostly focused on shelf/bar shimmy thing, and the rope climb. I know when I do end up taking MilMove/ the IOCT, those are going to be my slowest spots. Developed a decent strategy of getting from the wall thing to the top of the rope climb, and worked on not over-shooting my jump for the shelf.

Training 1:00:00 [3]

Played soccer at the fields down by South Dock. Went hard, but not as hard as Charlie or Justin. Still got a good sweat in, and got shoved to the ground at least once.

Training 40:00 [4]

Workout in Arvin, worked bench, squat, and abs. Did low weight, but high reps. Got a solid workout in.

Training 30:00 [5]

APFT. Erases my previous score. Did worse than before, because I stopped working push ups and sit ups as much after my first graded APFT. Got a 268, but I plan on greatly improving next time. Still maxed the run, however, so I am happy about that.

Training 50:00 [4] 4.0 mi (12:30 / mi)

Mountain run up to Torn mountain, I believe. I took it fairly easy since I had an APFT the next day. Beautiful views though, definitely hope we go up there again.
