Brisk walk to station.
7 PM

Other (Walk) 21:00 [1] 2.09 km (10:03 / km)

Walking back from station - spent the day on my feet walking round so back is aching. Had a 15 minute go on a pedalo which was entertaining and actually a bit tiring on the legs.

Thursday Aug 31 #

Note

More manual work - involved hauling and dragging much bigger trees around today as well hawthorn which was a bit nasty to hold. Actually pretty tiring work and am now very very scratched and brambled.

Wednesday Aug 30 #

Note

Manual work for a few hours - involved a lot of hauling and throwing big branches around. Got quite brambled.

Went out to turn around point doing 5:15min/km then 3rd km was 4:58 and the last km with the hill was 5:00min/km.

Orienteering Event (White Rose Team Event) 23:12 [5] ** 3.39 km (6:51 / km) +38m 6:29 / km
spiked:9/11c

Stampede to start kite ... took a route through the brashings to #1 to avoid everyone else but don't know if it was slower than going around. Was about 10m to the left of #4 but saw it. Was running pretty quickly along the track to #5 (under 4:50min/km). Punched an extra control before #7 and found the rest with no trouble but was very glad to find out I didn't have to do the extra loop.
