O' Training 54:00 [3] *** 6.02 km (8:58 / km) +10m 8:54 / km

Running around a local area with a map. Made my own course up. Found most alright but without kites there were some I wasn't sure if I was in the right place. Was incredibly icy and cold so my fingers and toes were absolutely frozen.

Orienteering Event (Local Event) 41:20 [3] ** 6.57 km (6:17 / km) +76m 5:57 / km
spiked:11/16c

A semi-urban event. The first two were scrappy and #4 was a bit dodgy. I realised there was a fence I could get caught in so stopped to make I sure didn't get caught, but did. Got stuck on the wrong side of thick green for #7 and took a very bad route to #11. Going round on the path would have been better but I decided to go through horrible undergrowth. It was very muddy and wet too.

Run 38:28 [4] 7.38 km (5:13 / km) +130m 4:47 / km

Really tough. Same route as last Wednesday but did the hill first and then the lake. Legs burning on the hill and starting to feel a bit rubbish on the lake bit so struggled to keep up with Dan and dad.

Hill Training 26:41 [5] 4.38 km (6:06 / km) +71m 5:38 / km

Jogged there and back. Did 3 of the gate to gates. Absolutely filthy... So muddy and very slippy so it was just hard to stay on your feet. Not particularly steep but prolonged. Legs felt good but breathing was tight. Very busy weekend and very little time etc so tired anyway today.
