Navigation was mostly alright. Didn't like all the brambles. Tried to go through them to #4 to cut the corner a bit but definitely didn't work and ended up losing a bit of time. Went past #10 a bit before turning round then messed up #12 a fair bit. Ran past the path bend so ended up in the dunes 100m away from the control. Then missed #13 in the circle and took ages trying to fold my map to #14. Not entirely concentrating but didn't get much sleep at all so not really surprised.

Really enjoyed it and saw an owl. Lost concentration on a few - generally in the circle - so lost bits of time here and there but no big mistakes. Wandered a bit to #1 when I got within 150m so was lucky not to loose too much time. Lost a bit of time in the circle at #3. Took a bit of a dodgy route to #6 by accidentally going through a big patch of green but found the control fine. Route to #11 wasn't the best as I decided to ignore the big path travelling parallel to the route I was taking through brambles. Got lucky finding it. Was in the depression to the left of #12 but realised pretty quickly.

Run 44:18 [4] 7.8 km (5:41 / km) +181m 5:05 / km

Same route as on Monday. Felt better this time. Bitterly cold but no mist so running along to the hut you could see the top of the hill which wasn't the best feeling. Found a quad bike trail leading right up to the trig point which we had only been a few metres away from on Monday but hadn't seen because of the mist.

Down to the shops. Going down the hill took only 7 minutes ... Then started heading back up again. Legs were burning and pretty tired.

Not really feeling up to this-just a bit shattered. On tracks until a hut then uphill through the moor in the mist. Couldn't see much at all so didn't know when it ended until I saw the trig point. Hard to keep moving even though the heather was short. Then crossed the moor on the way back to miss out some of the road.
