Was looking forward to this session, but annoyingly I think I've got some mild virus type thing as just not quite feeling all there. The reps felt fine but I just couldn't get that next gear I knew I could. Afterwards I felt weirdly fresh legged too. Just a bit frustrating but a solid session I suppose.
The first few reps were off Steve's watch (as mine has decided to remove the intervals function in the latest update, who ever thought that was a good decision...) so I think I was going slightly over a km as was just ahead.

Really good session. With Steve on a back road, one rep and almost one recovery each way, turning about 10" before the start of the next. Windy and rainy evening, but luckily we got most of the session done in a lull. At the end of one direction's reps the road slightly turned so that it was a full headwind which was tough on the last few to keep the recoveries at a solid pace.
Think I judged the pacing well, and it worked well with Steve who would be slightly behind at the end of the recovery before turning and so we could help push each other. 'Enjoyed' trying to keep that pace up in the recoveries for such (relatively) short reps.
