Running (morning run) 34:20 [1] 4.5 km (7:38 / km) +99m 6:52 / km

Realised the good location of our student accommodation (Kolej Komenského) and decided to go for a morning run. Definitely the best morning run ever! had all the streets, which usually are crowded by tourists, for myself. Watched the sun rise over Prague, ran down to Charles bridge and back. :-)

Running warm up/down 40:00 [1] 3.7 km (10:49 / km) +90m 9:38 / km

Orienteering race 43:36 [4] 4.73 km (9:13 / km) +162m 7:52 / km

World Cup middle distance,
Pure joy running in the sandstone terrain. felt that my training camp in march was a good preparation. Had a very comfortable feeling all over the race and stayed cool in the tricky sandstone parts. Amanda caught up with me but in the beginning we took different route choices. Was very pleased that my body almost felt normal again and that I could keep her speed. I had a plan to every control and focused on my own orienteering which was my goal.
Ended up on the 34th spot amongst 93 starters. That's my best world cup race result this year and my best result on an international middle distance event ever. (Haven't run so many yet though)

This years WC results sum up my year pretty well:
I had good start, qualifying to all races at EOC. During the summer my body was sending signals that something was completely wrong but I listened too late. Luckily the year had a happy end and it gives me a boost to fight for my dreams.

38th (EOC sprint, SUI)
37th (EOC middle, SUI)
47th (EOC long, SUI)
41st (WOC long, LAT)
75th (WC long, NOR)
82nd (WC middle, NOR)
34th (WC middle, CZE)

Orienteering race 17:20 [4] 3.48 km (4:59 / km) +60m 4:35 / km

World cup sprint relay in Petrin,Prague. Hanni, Matze, Matti and me in a team. I ran the last leg and caught two places; 21st place in the end.
My race was technically okay but was hesitating to the first control and felt a bit tired in my legs. 2 min behind the best time (Judith Wyder) on my leg...think it could be a bit less.
