Got an open wound on my heel during the long distance. Hopefully not an issue for tomorrow’s Middle distance.

Orienteering race 1:40:05 [4] 17.18 km (5:50 / km) +250m 5:26 / km

Öjetrampen Long distance.
First orienteering in Sweden since last summer. Had a good feeling, but a couple of mistakes. After the race I thought it was quite good, also not too far behind the winner and local hero Fredrik Bakkman but when I analysed my run on Livelox I could see that there was lots of room for improvement.
However, it was good to run a full long distance having a good feeling throughout it (was missing that during the whole last year).

Running warm up/down 10:32 [1] 2.01 km (5:14 / km) +20m 5:00 / km
shoes: VJ Bold 9 v2

Running 47:56 [1] 9.27 km (5:10 / km) +150m 4:47 / km
shoes: VJ Irock 3

Nothing beats Gingrileden on a sunny and warm day. Finished with some strides.

Note
(rest day)

Training has been good all winter, just felt extremely tired from the last week on. Taking full rest now, I hope it helps to get in shape until 10mila, where I will certainly need fresh legs to keep up with the fast guys.
