Note

Earmarking some races for the (almost) end of year:

- 24 Sept, Scottish 10k
- 8 Oct, Linlithgow 10k (maybe)
- 14 Oct, Manorwater (might be away)
- 22 Oct, Run of the Mill (looks awesome - up for something a bit longer like this)
- 11 Nov, Tinto

Some Borders XC too, potentially.

3 PM

Road Run 31:49 [2] 4.0 mi (7:57 / mi)

Calves really tight, and generally a bit worse for wear. Good stretch after.

Note

Confirmed somewhat that I'm ready for a break from the roads. Really enjoyed being on (and off!) the trails.
7 PM

Trail 1:01:15 [1] 6.12 mi (10:00 / mi) +348m 8:30 / mi
shoes: inov-8 212 (precision)

Tour de Glencorse. A lot of fun. Brilliant route- took a wrong turn on Bells though! Easy pace- felt like I had a lot of leg strength for the steep stuff.

Road Run 1:40:01 intensity: (1:20:01 @2) + (20:00 @4) 10.23 mi (9:47 / mi) +236m 9:07 / mi
shoes: Ultra Boost ST #2

18:38. Mentally zapped /not really up for for it. Afterwards: legs didn't feel like they'd worked very hard. Pretty sure I'm in shape to run under 18, but need to be able to focus, accept it'll be hard and generally get motivated for it.

Still- feeling fit, and moving in the right direction at the moment. 2M next week, expect I'll perform better for that: then that might be it for the roads this year.

Road Run 32:05 [1] 3.7 mi (8:40 / mi)
shoes: Ultra Boost ST #2

Nice and easy around town
