Further than was sensible- but missing a few sessions this week seemed like a natural taper. Some hammy cramps after 20 miles, but otherwise felt fine.
Fun route through the Pentlands- might revisit in the summer with less kit. It didn't feel like that much climbing either, ~2hr40 is probably doable with the right build-up.
* Elapsed time: 3:02:40. Managed effort cautiously, and stopped to swig water and eat some of my winnings from the relay (jelly beans) at regular points. Not that much fuel or water consumed though- one small flask, and a bag of jelly beans.
