Yin w/ Eva. Scatter-brained to start. Possibly a bit dehydrated. Wonderful after-effect. Legs anew. Cat pulling its tail ftw.

Further than was sensible- but missing a few sessions this week seemed like a natural taper. Some hammy cramps after 20 miles, but otherwise felt fine.

Fun route through the Pentlands- might revisit in the summer with less kit. It didn't feel like that much climbing either, ~2hr40 is probably doable with the right build-up.

* Elapsed time: 3:02:40. Managed effort cautiously, and stopped to swig water and eat some of my winnings from the relay (jelly beans) at regular points. Not that much fuel or water consumed though- one small flask, and a bag of jelly beans.

Easy hour. Lesser trodden trails around Corstorphine. Niggly calves, and feeling it a bit in the hips- nothing awful. An enjoyable shake-out.

Really fun group session led by James. Conditions not as bad as expected. Jog, drills, then 6 x 1k (Hyman reps), with 6/4mins alternating recovery. A mini-relay then jog over to Tuk tuk for food.

First run in roclite 290s - love this shoe!
