Hiking with Carolina in the Tatry / Carpathian mountains. From the Kempinski hotel up to lake Papradské pl. Unfortunately it started raining half way up and got very cold, and neither of us had raingear so we struggled on for a while almost to the lake, but then gave up and turned around. It stopped raining partway down. Carolina was in good spirits in spite of wearing thin soled tennis shoes (on a very rocky path), having multiple blisters from 2 weeks of fencing, and generally tired. Good sport! And great company.
