ResultsStarted off with an easy first leg which was good for my nerves, solid run spiking everything up until #6. Got confused by the contours and streams, thought I was on one stream but I was actually at another, relocated and headed into the green, almost missed it again but saw someone heading into it. Got back into my rhythm on the way to #7, solid plan to #7 allowing me to spike it perfectly. Went ~10m past #8 because it was hidden behind a fallen tree and was meant to be on a rootstock, fortunately, Vanessa and some others had seen it so just followed them into the control. Took my time through the road crossing so I didn't mispunch again. #12 was an easy contour round the hill. #13 was the interesting leg, either round the top of the lake or round the bottom. Lower route was probably the shorter route but the north route had more on tracks and less navigation so I went that way. #14 was just an easy leg along the thickets, downhill into #15 then an uphill to #16. And a final sprint from #16 to the finish. Got down to 2:30/km on the run in which is pretty good.
Overall very pleased with my run and navigation. 6mins behind 1st with ~4 mins of mistakes. Got a championship time for Lagganlia. So a very good weekend.
