Red Day 1 - Splits

Friday Oct 14

trail running 17:30 [2]
sweet, chill trail run to loosen up for the weekend.
ultimate frisbee 30:00 [2]
And then my students convinced me to play ultimate for a half hour... how could I resist. Good game...

Wednesday Oct 12

run 40:00 [2]
not a great run... I'm tired and need to get some more sleep! Maybe a bike or swim tomorrow to loosen up?

Tuesday Oct 11

trail running 35:30 [3]
A solid and fun run with Alex on muddy muddy trails. Good times. No twisted ankles and we pushed it up several hills.

Monday Oct 10

trail running 40:00 [2]
nice trail run... I stopped after 10 minutes for some good stretching. I felt a little sore after my run yesterday. Then I also stopped to help two students move a tree that had fallen across the trail. Afterwards I did some more stretching and some core stuff (crunches, tv watchers, etc). I'm realizing that I'm not very flexable these days and want to try to make that kind of stuff more a part of my daily workout.

Sunday Oct 9

run long 1:47:00 [3]11.5 mi (9:18 / mi)
yay. a good run on a rainy rainy day. I had to ford a river at one point where the road was flash flooded. My pace felt pretty good altogether too and I was definately getting tired for the last 2 miles or so.
