Rob came out with me to the Fells so there's a couple of walking portions here. After yesterday's hot stuffiness this felt actually cold.

My left knee hurts again but I think it's because I bashed it on a Hubway pedal on Wednesday. Didn't hurt when running. Will keep an eye on it.

A long lie in and then a rest day. Hung out at Walden Pond for an hour or so with a couple of very short swims - it's still pretty cold up there! Then walked down to fancy dinner at Juliet in the evening - we went there for a Surfrider Social on Tuesday and forgot to pay our tab, so we booked in for dinner and were glad we did. Exceptional food and lovely staff. Really great evening.

Continuing my 100% perfect record of not being able to make it to any of the Park Os, tonight I was going to see Pod Save America so I had to run from work after work. It was nice to be unencumbered with a bag and manage 2 7.45 miles without working too hard. Although in the long standing war between heat appropriate clothing and chub run the chub rub majorly won out this time. Remember lycra > running short, always.

Note

Had a great trip to Yellowstone and South Dakota with Mum and Dad. A lot of driving and some really good hikes, but also slightly less hiking than I was hoping for. Still, the mountain air finally cleared out my gunk filled lungs, and I seem to be over that horrible cold.
