Same thing again today, at Earl's Trails this time. By the end there was not so much fast, the increase in speed was relative. I orienteered like an idiot today, massively lacking in confidence. But I did enjoy being out there a lot, and doing alternate legs faster is a good proxy for fun orienteering until I can manage the whole course fast. Some good route choice too - it'll be fun to see what other people did. Thanks Phil (and others?)
I need an aim! I'm thinking at the moment something long and bumpy, but not necessarily fast. Any ideas? I might try fast if I manage to string together two weeks of actual physical activity anytime soon!
Oh no! I think the leaf miners have made it underneath my floating row covers! Bah humbug. No mines yet but definitely some eggs on the underside. Bah!

Thanks to Earl, I went orienteering! A super fun course at Gay City. I decided to run O' Fartlek - one leg slow, one leg "fast," and see how that went. The answer was mostly good, after a ropey start. Thanks to George and Lyn for helping out on the day and Charlie for being my ice cream companion on a beautiful day. Now I have to go to work :(
