Ended up working the whole day in the lab today and still wanted to get the run in. Decided to start slow and just see if I could keep going to the plan, and I managed. Felt much better after twenty minutes and actually enjoyed it.
Was thinking about that study a couple of months ago about high performing men pretending to work 80 hours. 80 hours is insane. I did 53 this week and it's true that most of these 80 hours jobs aren't on their feet like mine. But it was totally exhausting on all levels.
This week I'm going to stay at home a bunch to write and it should be easier. I hope!

Even when I purposefully try to work less hard I fail. This week is turning into a long drag. I can see myself putting weight back on! Argh! Next week? It's always next week. Frustrating. Keep on cycling I guess.
