HR even higher this morning, not many more symptoms than a thick head and a headache. Sinus infection? This is annoying.
Note
So, we have no concrete plans for moving back to the UK yet. But I want to start talking about finding a new home for the devil cats. I wrote a long Facebook post about it. If you know anyone who might consider adopting them, perhaps you could share it with them? Also, if any orienteers are up to the challenge, I would love to hear from them. We will consider taking them back if we can't find the right person. But we are worried that Clem's sniffly nose may land them in quarantine on the other side and that would be much worse for them than being re-adopted.
Today was weird. Woke up with more energy, but resting HR still way above the sick line. Figured I'd do a few jobs around the house as I felt okay. Then went to do the week's food shopping and made it halfway around the Farmer's Market before bonking completely. Now I feel like I did two days ago. Booo. HR is a better indicator than apparent energy levels, it turns out.
Wondered what happened to my motivation. When I woke up covered in sweat (gross!) at 5am this morning I knew.
Unfortunately I started two super important experiments yesterday (with irreplaceable human tissue and no "stop" point) so have had to go into work for a bit. Just finished the first one and now just another hour or so to go, then back to bed.

Took a run around the neighbourhood waiting for the road to thaw. It was sheet ice when I left and water when I got back. There were some really warm breezes of wind, like running past the outflow of someone's clothes dryer. It was very strange.
