Recovery 22:01 intensity: (3:25 @0) + (1:11 @1) + (13:27 @2) + (3:58 @3) 3.54 km (6:13 / km) +3m 6:11 / km

Another tester shuffle round town. Legs felt more normal, lungs felt worse. Perhaps the goo is finally on the move. Less headache today!

Note

HR not badly up but enough of a bump to go for a walk just before sunset today and not a run. Snot is on the move though!

Running 3:36 intensity: (26 @0) + (40 @1) + (1:15 @2) + (1:15 @3) 0.56 km (6:26 / km) +17m 5:35 / km
ahr:137 max:153 shoes: Neon sauconys

Inspired by Alex and Zan, a jog up to the Observatory to work out somewhere nice outside.

Freeletics 12:49 intensity: (2:00 @0) + (3:17 @1) + (1:41 @2) + (5:51 @3) 0.05 km (4:06:28 / km)
ahr:139 max:164 shoes: Neon sauconys

Did the Freeletics warm up, and it felt okay. So then did the shortest workout I know - Metis Endurance version. Despite stopping for about ten seconds every time my HR hit 75%, I equalled my PB. So I guess I am getting better!

Other Freeletics peeps - what are your favourite super short workouts? I should attempt too much this week!

Running 29:01 intensity: (15 @0) + (1:45 @1) + (17:26 @2) + (9:35 @3) 4.49 km (6:27 / km) +34m 6:13 / km
ahr:146 max:167 shoes: Neon sauconys

Max 75% HR today just as the light was dying. Did 4 x 30 second wind ups, but just cruise, not pushing. All of this felt surprising okay. Will see what HR thinks tomorrow.

Running 20:01 intensity: (46 @0) + (7:28 @1) + (10:28 @2) + (1:19 @3) 3.26 km (6:09 / km) +6m 6:05 / km
ahr:136 max:153 shoes: Neon sauconys

I tried a shuffle. I felt stiff and unfit. I still have a constant low level headache. I want it to go away now.

Okay, hint time!

Due to Spring break our holiday is a road trip and not the calm, collected two destination idea we'd planned.

We're all booked with hotels so this plan is not flexible. I know I know there is not anywhere near enough time to do everything in each place, we know that!

So, I want to hear the must sees/must dos for these places!

Great Sand Dunes NP

Mesa Verde NP (no tours in winter, lookouts only)

Monument Valley

Zion NP (we might try the Wave lottery at Vermilion Cliffs, as we're staying in that town - I never have any luck at lotteries so it likely won't happen!)

Bryce Canyon NP

Capitol Reef NP (drive through probably)

Moab (Arches and Canyonlands)

And finally George, you must know a good restaurant in Vail for dinner on the way back!

Note

CT A to Z post about The Preserve for Marie!

Note

HR is below 50 today! Yey! I feel more snotty so maybe it is on it's way out.

We booked the holiday! Yey!
