"Long run" home. The weather was very British. Today was a good day at work - 7 months instead of 7 years to a paper, Chloe got into Duke Med School, and then we found out our grant we wrote in a desperate rush because we got the date wrong in our heads got scored in the 2nd percentile! I was tired before all that happened but the adrenaline got me ready to run, and had a pleasant shuffle.

Data dump! I may not get round to making everything the correct activity, but what the heck. I've been well - actively commuting almost every day and not getting too tired. Busy at work but not stupid busy. I am putting on weight again though, of course, so I just joined Cambridge Athletic Club and hopefully that will be fun. They have the cable machines that the men used to hog at Yale in the Women's only room, which makes me happy :)
Today was the first tempo in a long time and my legs were stiff. It was hard, but in a good way. I am slow now.
